Only difference in outcomes I have found are there are a LOTS of roving raider gangs of the 3 different factions EVERYWHERE, (They fight everything and each other) and the trader caravans from Bunker Hill have stopped. I found the second way doing NW first to be more fun because after wiping out NW I still have lots of game to play. ![]() After going as far as I could with raider settlements in the CommonWealth (there are certain settlements you need to leave alone or you will mess up the Minutemen questline) I rescued Preston and am presently still playing that game. Did everything I could being a nasty raider, of which I have never been able to be nasty in the game before (its just not in me, I dont like being an a-hole, even in a game), found it was fun. Second time I prebuilt all the settlements on my own that I knew I would need to use for raider settlements and in doing that I hit my lvl 30 recommended to start NW. After completing NW and making raider settlements in the CommonWealth it was kind of, game over. First time I started NW after finishing the main quest and Far Harbor and other dlc. ![]() First time after finishing the main quest line and the last time I bypassed Preston.
